My name is Kristey Reed and I am a 2008 graduate from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Out of school, I worked at a small animal clinic in Harker Heights, TX for 7 years. I then moved back to Houston to be closer to family and have done relief work, been a medical director for 3 different animal clinics, and worked with 3 different corporate practices, one of them mobile, during the past 7 years. In mobile work, I found a passion for my profession that I had feared I had lost. Helping owners know when to make the difficult decision of euthanasia and providing this in the comfort of their home is especially an honor that I don't take for granted. It is for this reason that I have started my own in home euthanasia service.
Something I am slowly becoming better about fighting for as I get older is a good balance in life. So, in my time away from work I like to run (I'm usually training for a half marathon to try to stay motivated), read, spend time with my 3 dogs and 4 cats, or hang with my awesome 4 year old.
